Indiana's "Discrimination" Law

Indiana recently passed a law to protect religious freedoms by giving the right to refuse services to groups such as gays. It has came under a lot of scrutiny and social media has blown the story up. There are 30 other states that have laws like this, and it is a federal law since 1993, but people are taking a stand here. There are even some threatening to boycott the Final Four in Indianapolis. When asked the question, "Would a christian florist be able to refuse to serve gay wedding," the governor refused to reply and said that they would try to pass an addition to the law to clarify.

Update: The speaker for the house of representatives in Indiana said that it would not be leagal for businesses to deny services because of a person being gay.

  • Well don!

  • This is hilarious. I can't even take people seriously anymore.

    I'm gone, I'm done.

  • I think its not cool all people should be welcomed and i think its the peoples choice they should do what they want

    • I think that all people should be equal too. This law is worded a little wreckless and could cause a problem if not fixed.

  • I think that everybody should be to make their own decisions and shouldn't be held down by laws like that.

I think that they should stand up for what they believe in.

  • I think that is good so then people will not be way different. I do not know what is the final four.

    • The Final Four is the college basketball championship. I think that more people will agree with you once they fix this law.

  • I think this is an unfair law and all people should be able to have the same freedoms. People should not boycott the Final Four in my opinion because it is a game for fun and is not a place for a debate.

    • I think that everyone needs to be equal too. History has proved that. I also agree that people should not boycott because it is a college game not a political event.

  • I don't think this law is necessary because it what some people believe in, it's their life style. They have a choice to do what they want.
