I still don't get how this bill is going to help anything because you take away a gun these people are just going to find something else to use! My opinion is this is the stupidest bill ever, cause I think our President is forgetting something that thing he's forgetting is yes a gun can kill people but a gun can't go off without someone holding that gun pulling the trigger and i get that a gun can go off if you drop the thing but gun have safety's on them for a reason, but breaking this bill up into four different parts and having back round checks isn't going to do much. Think about this: A soldier who struggled with PTSD but got help for it goes into a gun shop wanting to buy a gun for hunting they do a back round check and found out that this soldier had PTSD and they don't let him buy it, even though he's trained on how to use it safely. or a man goes in to do the same thing as the soldier did but when they did a back round check and find out he was in therapy five years ago but it doesn't say for what, little did they know he was in therapy to work problems with his wife, and they don't let him buy it. All that back round check there for is to find something, anything, that would state you are unstable to have a gun. This gun control bill isn't going to make it safer in the US, look at what the prohibition did, it banned alcohol but yet it did more harm than good.

I understand guns are used in killings, but I also believe that it isn't the gun's fault the person holding the gun is responsible for it. No matter what happens there are going to be people that find their way around them.
Having gun control laws are pointless. Bad guys are always going to be able to get a gun. Guns are 99 percent of the time used in a good way by many hunters around the world. There is an amendment that says right to bear arms.
