IHOP: Introducing a Bouncer

An IHOP hires a bouncer to control the intoxicated crowds. He stands there from 11 p.m. til 7 a.m. I can understand hiring someone at places to help keep things under control and all, but an IHOP?! What are your thoughts? Frankly, I don't see why a place like that is willing to "waste" money on something as "big" as that. It isn't like other places experience those types of things. But the manager usually can handle it. It's bound to happen to sometime, so it may be a waste of the guys time. So save your money for things that actually benifit your expansions and profit. What do you think? Is a bouncer necessary?

  • I have never seen the need for a bouncer in IHOP but i guess it might make you feel safer.

  • I think that there is a problem other wise they wouldn't have hired a bouncer, because no business will spend money on something they don't need.
  • I think it is up to the people that work there to decide if it is necessary or not. If they didn't have a problem with it then they wouldnt do it. Think about it before you decide to be so judgmental towards things!

    • My discussion, my opinion. Everyone else who comments gets their opinion too, so don't be judging people's opinions, do you see them slamming yours?
  • That's just a little weird.
  • That is wierd why would you have a bouncer at ihop
