Which is exactly the opposite point of shutting the government down in the first place!!

They already use more money than they take in. Just look at the national debt.

I'm glad it didn't shut down last Friday. Of course just because it didn't doesn't mean we're free of all problems, but at least we didn't fall that far down. Our contry needs to be saving money and using it on the needed things, not just throwing it away. I will admit I was a little curious to see what a government shutdown would be like, but overall I'm glad it didn't happen (yet)

Well thank god it didnt shut down. That would have been terrible if it would have closed down.
