A cause to the bird flu may just be this. Police over in China have finally solved a crime that may be a cause of the bird flu going on over in China. Police say they have arrested 904 suspects on selling rat and other small mammal meat as "lamb." They have sold over a $1 million in rat meat! Want more details? Here is the story.

I'm definetely more thankful now about how highly monitored our food is here in the United States. We are very lucky to have that kind of monitoring over the things we put in our bodies!

That's crazy! I can't believe someone would do that. Imagine how many other sicknesses and diseases they could have gotten from that meat! Rats are not healthy creatures.
OMG! Thank goodness I never eat lamb meat! I hope noone is selling like Rat meat in place of beef or pork though! I would freak out if i found out i was eating RAT!
This is terrible! Why would they sell this to people.. it could have killed them and 904 people were selling it? This is just gross!

Oh that is so gross! I can't even imagine what must be going through these people's heads to think that selling that to the public would be okay. I hope they get to the bottom of this and really start cracking down on the health system in China.

It's pretty sad to see that they had the time to sell a million dollars of fake meat before they were inspected.
Thats gross and i would want to know what im eating when i buy something! Those people are pretty messed up!
