Hurricane Michael, the third-most intense Atlantic Hurricane to make landfall in the contigous United States ripped through the land of the lower south countries and its intensity had risen to a category 4 hurricane making it the strongest storm of the season to reach landfall. When it had reached Cuba, it still had major power and it had continued on towards the United States. Its max mph was 155. The massive hurricane brought flooding, hail, rain, massive wind, high pressure, etc. The total amount of money that would be needed to fix all the damaged houses, building, personal items is over 11.5 billion dollars. These tragic hurricanes and storms have been harsh these last two years hopefully these storms will eventually slow down and not occur as much as they have in the last five years.

What would you/family do in case of a hurricane/tropical storm?
I would first make sure i'm with my family and we would have a plan to leave the area.
How would you react to a Hurricane/Tropical storm?
I would feel shocked and scared.

Get to high ground maybe. Got to bring the dogs and cats with us because they are family too. I mean I hope it would be a liability on the house so we can search for another one. It's not as big of a deal as everyone makes it out to be. Yea it would be rough to find a place to live for a while but its good.
I guess I don't really know what we would do, as we don't even think about those situations since we live in the middle of the United States. I would probably be a bit frightened, but if I had to worry about those kinds of natural disasters we would be more prepared.
Well I would never know because I'm never going to live by an ocean/big span of water...because of this right here. But, just if I was in this situation if I didn't have a car I would get to high land and try to stay alive. Well I would need to stay calm for my mom because she doesn't do good in storms.. So i guess just stay calm and wait for my mom to calm down.
If my family was in an area where tropical storms were common we would probably have a back up plan if a storm came. I would also be sure to evacute to a relatives house that doesn't live in the coastal area during the storm. I would do this is we heard there was a storm coming instead of waiting for the storm to come. I would be very hurt by the storm and the fact that you may lose everything due to it.
If we were in that kind of situation i would try to avacuate as fast as possible and get out of the primis that the hurricane is going to hit

Yeah, getting to the highest point so you will not be harmed by flooding is a good idea and aslo making sure you are far enough away from the hurricanes path is a good thing to do to make sure you will not get harmed by the huge tropical storm and by the flooding, hail, and wind.
If I were in this situation, I would try to get out of the area as soon as possible, and with my family of course. At first, this kind of hurricane would be hard to react calmly to. I would probably be panicky first learning about it, then I would try to calm myself and others around down.
I agree, I would be really nervous, scared, and i would panic some too. I would make sure to be with my family and get out of there before the storm hits and get to a secure locattion that i know the storm will not hit or affect anything near me.
I would definetly be by my family and I would evacuate with my family to make sure I could get out of there alive. If there was a hurricane I would definetly would feel scared and I don't really know what I would do.
