Hurricane Matthew formed a tropical wave that hit the African Coast in September. Once Matthew reached the Eastern Caribbean the Hurricane almost exploded into action. It reached category 5 strength with 160 mph winds. The it made it's way to Haiti and eastern Cuba on Oct. 4 as a Category 4. Then it moved to the Bahamas on Oct. 5-6 as a Category 3. The southeastern United States was then hit hard. Matthew moved very close to Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.

I would have been scared definitely. I don't think I could have done anything to help with the hurricane Maybe they new that it was coming they could have saved more people.

I would be scared for my life. I would try and find anyway to get out, anyway to be safe, anyway to not have to go through that. I would have tried to warn others, and tell them to find anywhere where would be safe, for them to go.
I think I would have done anything and everything to prepare and then hope and pray for best possible outcome. I think donating daily necessities to those effected would have been a huge help.
If this was close to me, I would have been amassed and scared with something so horrific happening nearby. The only thing to do is probably help clean up the shore lines and towns close by.

Hurricanes always cause so much damage and are really hard to try to prepare for. I think I would definitely want to help in any way possible from this.
I would try and evacuate as soon as possible. I would try and help people evacuate also.

I would have evacuated as soon as possible because I don't want to be anywhere near that situation, I would let people ride in my car to get the heck outta dodge.
