Hunter Biden is the son of democratic president canadate Joe Biden announced that he will step down from the board of directors in China which is backed by a private equity firm. Biden's work in Ukraine and China has emerged as Trump's chef line of attack against Hunter's father Joe even though there wasn't any proof. Hunter made the following commitment "Under the Biden administartion I will readily comply with any and all guidelines or standards that a President Biden may issue to address purported conflicts of intreset" Hunter's attourny said. His attorny also contiued to say " Hunter will also continue to keep his father uninvolved in International business affairs". Hunter's work overseas sits at the center of the house impeachment inquiry into Trump, who has admitted to asking for asking foregin powers to investigate Hunter's business dealings.
Do you think Hunter was right for stepping down and why? I think he was right in stepping down so Trump or others couldn't try and get information on him or his father.
Why would Trump try to ask other foregin powers for infomation if he could get impeached? I think he would ask so he could get a upper hand on Biden and more information about his family.

Good job replying Blake! I do think your summary could have been written a bit better as there are quite a few errors. You might also need toset up the story as mnay not know the big story between Trump and Ukraine right now and how the Bidens are tied into it.
I think it was right for him to step down because then it won't be as hard on him as he seems. I think Trup would do something like that because he wants his family to come first to any type of leading project. Trump wants "whats good" for our country so, he wants his son to basically take in postion.
I think he was right for stepping down because that way Trump couldn't get information out of him but at the same time I feel like if he has nothing to hide that he shouldn't have stepped down. He could ask foreign powers for information because he wants to know what he should do different.
Yes I think that it was a good idea for Hunter to step down because like you said in your summery it could’ve been a conflict of interest if Biden were To get elected in 2020. Also I think that it might have been a poor decision on Trump’s side to ask anything about the Biden’s.
I think Hunter was right to step down because of the controversy going on and because Joe Biden is running for president so it'd be best to not be super involved in foreign owned companies. I think that Trump probably thought he wouldn't get impeached either way and maybe he didn't think that people would find out but I don't really know all that much about this topic.
Also even though I'm not for sure about what the controversy even is, since Hunter was just doing his business as an upaid board member, I think that Trump also had business relationships with foreign companies and countries before he stepped down too so I'm just kinda confused as to why he would start pointing fingers on that point.
In my opinion, I think that Hunter stepped down because he may of had something to hide. Although with all of the trouble and controversy it was causing, I think he was right to just step down and try and put an end to all of the arguing. I personally do not think that Trump is worried about getting impeached because he hasn't done anything bad. He is a great president, and people need to see that he is doing way more good than harm.

I think it was the right thing to do and I think he did it so Trump or others couldn't get information from him about him or his father because as long as he still has power he will have the information. I think he asked for information to get dirt on Biden which would be used in the upcoming election.
I think that by stepping down fro the positition Hunter Biden was making a smart decision by just trying to avoid as much controversy as possible considering all thats happening around his father at the moment. I think that trump is asking foreign countries about info so he could take down Biden and this seems to be whats happening at the moment
