Neighbors were complaining about a nasty smell coming from William Buchman's house in Santa Ana, California. People were saying it smelled like death by his house. So they police came in and searched his house and found some of them alive, others dead, and some decaying. There were also snake skin and mice in his house. In just one room they found more than 50 dead pythons and 7 alive ones. Why do you think he had all these snakes in his house? Why would he have dead snakes all over? What do you think the police should do to this guy?

This is just disgusting to me. How can a person have that many snakes and why did he keep the snakes after they died? Maybe this teacher needs some psychiatric help because this kind of thing just isn't normal.
Yeah I think he does need some help. This many snakes in one house is not normal.
Sounds like this guy belongs on that show My Strange Addiction or whatever it is. I wonder what led him to snake hoarding? Pretty creepy.
Yeah that show would be good for him. Having a few snakes is weird but over 100 is just not okay.
I'm guessing the guy just really liked snakes and possibly forgot to take care of them.
Oh that's so gross. I couldn't even stand having one snake in my house i can't imagine hundreds. Sounds like he has an obsession.. he should definitely get the snakes taken away before someone gets hurt..
Yeah he definitely needs to get them taken away, if the neighbors wouldn't of called the cops someone could of easily gotten hurt.
I've never heard of anything like this before, so I wouldn't know what to think. I'm guessing most of the snakes died because they starved, and the mice came in to eat the dead ones; or the mice were the snakes food. I don't know what the police should do to the man, because I don't know if it is illegal or not.
I agreed that they probably did starve and I think this man should at least get a fine or something because he had so many and obviously couldn't take care of them.
