Most people know that Jamaican runner Usain Bolt is the fastest man to ever live, but do you know how fast he can actually run? Bolt ran 330 feet in 9.58 seconds. That is 23.4 miles per hour throughout that course of the race. For a small part of the race he was clocked in running at 27 miles per hour. People often ask how to become a better sprinter. What makes someone a good sprinter is someone who can use less energy and achieve the same result during a race. It also depends how your genetics are, some people are just destined to be good runners. Most of the fastest runners are young men. We may think that 20+ miles per hour is fast, but in reality it really isn't. If you take a look at the animal kingdom we are not even close to as fast as a lot of animals. For example the cheetah is the fastest in the animal kingdom, and they can run at speeds up to 70 miles per hour. Some experts think that someday a human will be able to run somewhere between 35-40 miles per hour, but that is just an estimation. Only time will tell whether or not this can be achieved.

Questions:
How fast do you think you can run? Are you naturally a good runner?
Do you think that someone will be able to runner over 30 mph someday?
My Answers
I am not really sure how fast I am able to run because I am more of a long distance runner. I think I'm a pretty good runner naturally.
I think that someday someone will be able to because humans keep evolving and getting stronger and faster.

I don't think that anyone around here will be the one to break the record because most of the fastest people in the world are from Africa. I think that someone from around here might be able to because there is always a chance, but it is unlikely.
I am really not sure how fast I can actully run. I am not a big runner, I don't like running long distances but I can do short relays and usually run pretty fast. Yes, I believe that somebody will be able to run that fast with all the technology and training techniques we have.
I agree. I think that the record will be broken one day, but when will it be broken? I think that the record will be broken sometime shortly because there are a lot oc fast people out there today.
I wouldn't know my exact speed but I would assume I am maybe a little over average on running. I could easily believe that somebody could run 30 MPH one day, especially considering Usain got to 27 MPH.
I think that you are correct there. I think that someone could probably beat it, and I think someone might have beaten it, but it may not be on record. When do you think that the record will be broken?
I don't know how fast I can run, but I can run but not very long distance. I have speed but at short lengths. I do think someone eventually will be able to run this fast because runners work very hard and if their mind is set they will hit this goal.
I agree I think that someone someday will definitely beat Usain Bolt's record, but the questions is, How lond will it take for someone to beat the record? Will it last a long time, or will it be broken soon.
1.) I think I could run pretty fast, but I don't really try if I acually tried and practiced I feel like I would be pretty good. 2.) I think somebody could run that fast, some of us can alrady run pretty fast. Also, I think that somebody could already run that fast, but they don't run for a living.
I think that there is definitely someone who has the potential to beat Usain Bolt, but they just know that they are that fast. I think that there are a lot of people in third world countries who are faster than Usain Bolt.
