Most people know that Jamaican runner Usain Bolt is the fastest man to ever live, but do you know how fast he can actually run? Bolt ran 330 feet in 9.58 seconds. That is 23.4 miles per hour throughout that course of the race. For a small part of the race he was clocked in running at 27 miles per hour. People often ask how to become a better sprinter. What makes someone a good sprinter is someone who can use less energy and achieve the same result during a race. It also depends how your genetics are, some people are just destined to be good runners. Most of the fastest runners are young men. We may think that 20+ miles per hour is fast, but in reality it really isn't. If you take a look at the animal kingdom we are not even close to as fast as a lot of animals. For example the cheetah is the fastest in the animal kingdom, and they can run at speeds up to 70 miles per hour. Some experts think that someday a human will be able to run somewhere between 35-40 miles per hour, but that is just an estimation. Only time will tell whether or not this can be achieved.

Questions:
How fast do you think you can run? Are you naturally a good runner?
Do you think that someone will be able to runner over 30 mph someday?
My Answers
I am not really sure how fast I am able to run because I am more of a long distance runner. I think I'm a pretty good runner naturally.
I think that someday someone will be able to because humans keep evolving and getting stronger and faster.

Interesting story and well done!
I think that an acheievement like this cannot be taken naturally. No human within the milleinia will be able to run that fast, because we will need to further evolve as a species. Though it may be possible with performance enhancers to do that. I do agree with your statement that only time can tell, because it will not be instantaneous when we achieve this feat.
I agree and disagree with what you are saying. I think that the record will be broken sooner than you think because there are a lot of people who are very fast now, and with the right training they could beat it.
I don't know for sure how fast I run, but I know its not that fast. I think that some day someone will be able to fun that fast. But, I think you would have to be on a good diet and working out on a daily basis.
I think that you are right because if you want to be a fast runner you have to have a good diet, and work your hardest everyday. I think that the record will be broken eventually.
I don't know how fast I can run but I'm in track and I like running. Some day, I think that someday someone will be able to run over 30 miles per hour because of how humans are evolving.
I agree. We are always evolving and constatly getting faster. Therefore, I think that if someone trains hard enough the record will be broken because of how many fast people are out there already.
I don't know how fast, but I'm a really bad runner. Maybe it comes because I don't like it at all, but if I practice I'm still not good. I think someday someone will be so fast, but I don't think it will get higher than that.
I was thinking something similar to you. I think that someone will train very hard to beat that record, but I think that they will end up beating the record because there are a lot of fast people out there.
I can run relativly fast, I'm sure in a fight-or-flight situation I could get pretty far. It's kind of a stereotype that if you're black, you're just good at sports. But no, I'm not good at running. I think someday, with genetic engineering, someone could achieve a greater speed. But over 30 mph is stretching just a litlle.
