What is the fastest a human can run is a queston that has been out there for along time. A lot of people want to know. The fastest anyone has every ran was Usain bolt in 2009, hitting 27.5 miles per hour. A biomechanics reascercher was trying to figure out why it will be so hard to beat that speed, and he said, "that the reason our running speed is limited is because when people are sprinting they are in air for most of there stride." Which is why you skate faster than you run because you're not in the air. Somone like Usain bolt only has is on the ground for about 42 percent of is stride and somthing like a cheata is two thirds its stride time.
Do you think someone will be able to bet Usain blolts top speed?
Yes because pepole will figur out how to run to reduse air time
Why do you think being in the air between strides makes us slower?
Becsue it is drag and it is slowing you down

Good story choice Hugh! You only replied five times. You should have about 15 times. -5 late
I personally think running or trying to run that fast is hard but if someone was willing to break the record of running that fast I think they should do it but I don't think it's going to be broken any time soon because that record was set in 2009. I think the reason when we are in the air and it makes us slower is that we don't have any traction in the air cause when we start off we are on the ground with traction and that is what helps us go faster.
Running this fast, would be very hard. No matter if they can figure out how to reduce air time, it would still be difficult to get to this speed. This has been held for a long time, yet still no one has figured it out. People are slower on two feet than animals are on four feet.
I don't think anyone could beat that speed. If someone were to try, they would have to learn how to run with strides that are not far off the ground because air is what is keeping us from going faster. I think the air between our strides slow us down because there is only so much gravity that can hold us down and it just takes more time than just rolling.
It's been 11 years since someone has ran that fast and It could be possible that someone out there could run faster. Its like how the water slowes you down it's pushing force agenst you. I think that if more reserch is done scientists could figure out a way for someone to run without all the drag.
Yes I think that one day someone or multiple people will be able to beat Usain bolts top speed. New information will come out on how to gain speed and someone could have good genetics and could be meant to be a runner and have it in their blood to run.
I think someone in the futuer will beat the top speed becasue people are always finding eays to improve and learing how to run correctly will definatly casue a change in speed.Becasue when you are in the ari your feet don't have something to get tracktion on to push you.
I think at some point someone will but it will take a long time and effort to beat that time. Air can be flowing twards you and affect your speed it's like walking against a current in a river it slows you down.
I think that when people get more reasherch about Usain bolts someone could potentially beat him. I think the air resistence makes us slower because it is pushing against us and when you make strides you lift off the ground and it is easier for the wind/air to slow you down.
I agree that once they get more research about how fast a human can run, they could potentially beat that speed. I also agree that air resistance makes people slower because it is a force pushing back on them while they are trying to speed up. If scientists can make air resistance less of a factor, potential candidates could try and beat Usian Bolt's fastest time.
