I like having the nine periods, it allows us to have more options and include more classes into our schedules. The three minute passing periods are going to be hard to get use to. At first I thought being able to have our cell phones during passing periods, lunch, and study hall would be great, but after school started I realized that I didnt have anyone to talk to!

I don't mind the nine periods it just takes some getting used to. But the three minute passing period i was like man thats never going to happen, but when i got through a few classes i was fine with it.
I really don't have a problem with the nine periods at first it was a little weird having lunch between 5 and 6th period but im getting used to it. When I first found out about the three minunet passing periods I didn't think it was going to work for me. My classes are all over the high school and i thought i would have to practiaclly run from one place to the next, but it really isnt bad i get to classes fine i just really dont have to mess around. Being able to use cell phones is very handy. I don't have texting but it still is nice for me to be able to use my phone if i need to get ahold of my parents or anyone else.
I like the nine periods, but I really dont like this whole three minutes thing. There is no way I can stop at my locker except for one class which is in the morning so it really serves no purpose. The p.e. teachers are pretty good about getting us out a little early so we have time to change. I like thewhole cell phone thing. I think that now that they are letting us use them during passing periods I think we wont want to use them as much during class.
I think there is good and bad to a day with nine periods. The good things about it are that you can take more classes during the year, and you have a chance to get more credits. The down side to having a nine period day is the three minute passing periods. If you have to talk to a teacher after class, or go to the restroom, you really don’t have time for it. If your class is on the second floor, and you have to go to P.E. next, then you really have to hurry from class to class. I think the cell phone policy is kind of nice, after all it is the twenty first century.
Nine periods isn't so bad. It lets us have more choice and makes it easier to get all the credits we need to graduate. The three minutes they give us to get to class is not enough, especially if you have classes upstairs to get to. Since teachers only give a limited number of passes, its going to be really hard to adjust.
The nine periods thing doesn't really bother me because it will be easier to get all the credits i need. Three minute passing periods are hard to deal with because there is no way you can go to the bathroom in that amount of time. Also, if you have to go from PE to a class upstairs you have to do some hardcpre power walking to get there on time. I really like being able to use cell phones in study halls and passing period. I like that the teachers txt you announcements and assignments. They finally realized they might as well stop fighting the cell phones.
Personally, I like the nine periods because it allows me to have a study hall, and that really helps if you're in sports. The three minute passing periods are going to be hard to get use to, and I'm so focused on getting to my classes on time that I never even use my phone.
