On September 23rd, 2015, a billboard on one of the busiest streets in Sheffield, a northern city in England, had a very strong message on it.
A women by the name of Lisa had asked the company in charge of the billboards if she could use the billboard for just a few hours. $611 later, Lisa had embarrassed her cheating husband by putting on the billboard, "To my cheating husband Paul. You deserve each other. When you get home I won't be there. Enjoy your drive to work! Lisa."
Mark Catterall, the man who sold her the space for the message on the billboard told CNN that she had reserved the spot about 2 weeks in advance and had been planning this breakup for a long time. The sign was about 18 feet long and about 9 feet high and was on display from about 6-9 am on that September 23rd morning. Catterall also told CNN that the billboard used for this breakup was also used for many wedding proposals as well.

Nah he deserves that because he he cheated on her. but i would never spend that much money on someone just to break up with them
I think it was a little too much, but he kind of deserved it. Cheating is never the right thing to do to your partner. I would never use that much money just to do something as simple as getting a divorce. If they wronged you, do the right thing and move on.
I agree with you Drew that it's never okay to cheat on someone. Although the person who did the act deserves to be embarrassed, I think that was too much money to spend on a way to dump someone.
Well no because there is no last names so the ratio that the people know the Lisa on the billboard is about 1-100. I would have just told him myself instead of wasting money.
That's what a lot of people said, as in saving the money and just saying it to their face because again, it would be much quicker and easier to get it over with that way.
I think her husband got what he had coming to him and he completely deserved it. I wouldn't pay that much because she wouldn't be worth that much if I getting rid of her.
That's very true. If you were cheated on by someone, the last thing that you would want to do is spend $600 to just dump them. It would be much quicker and cheaper just to say it to their face.

I think that she was maybe even going a little easy on him. I hope that this man never has a wife again. I don't think I would spend that much to break up with someone but I still think that it is clever and smart.
