Tropical storms are formed by tropical waves, these tropical waves are low-pressure areas that move through tropical areas. These tropical waves fuel and modify the thunderstorms and showers. When these waves move towards the west, the air from the warm oceans will rise, which causes even more air to enter the clouds and thunderstorms. The water condenses in the clouds, forming water droplets which release more heat to fuel the storm.
A Hurricane known as Hurricane Oscar was originally a tropical storm but eventually became a hurricane. This Hurricane is said to set foot in Cuba, and many people in Cuba don't have power so they don't have any idea of knowing if a hurricane will take place. This Hurricane is also supposed to set foot in The Bahamas and eventually veer off into the North. Hurricane Oscar has the smallest storm eye of this year and is a very small hurricane. There is a chance that the smallest amount of wind shear (A change in wind speed/direction) could destroy the hurricane or throw it off course.
I think that tropical storms and hurricanes will continue to grow and will not get thrown off course by wind shear. I think these storms will hit Cuba and The Bahamas and will cause damage, but will not be too devastating due to the size of the hurricane.
Questions:
1.) Do you think wind shear will throw Hurricane Oscar off course?
2.) Do you think the Hurricane will be that serious?

I don't think that the hurricane will be that serious because it is a very small hurricane and I think that the wind shear could maybe throw Hurricane Oscar off course causing it to not hit land and then not be serious at all.
I slightly disagree because for a tropical storm to be classified as a hurricane, it has to have a high wind speed. Therefore, if it were to make contact with land it could still cause a lot of damage. Although it is not a high-category hurricane, it is still dangerous [to people and property.
I think the wind shear may or may night throw Oscar off course, strengtening or lessening in severity depending on what happens when it touches down. Theres a chance it could be stronger than Helene and Milton but I'm doubtful of it.
I strongly agree, that it is small enough for wind shear to potentially throw it off course, but it is unlikely. There is still plenty of time for windspeeds to increase and make the hurricane more deadly or stronger.
Yes I do think wind shear will throw hurricane Oscar off course, due to the changing of wind speeds and direction and height in the atmostphere it could surely change. I do think the hurricane will be serious because you never know what will happend till your in that moment of the hurricane.
I agree with your opinion, it is not only about the size of the hurricane, but is dependent on how destructive it is and how direct the hurricane is with cities and people on land.
