Three homecoming king nominees, in a Tennessee school, decided to do such a great thing! The three boys decided that who ever won the vote that they would give the award to a classmate, Scotty Maloney, who has Williams Syndrome. The article said that everyone was pretty emotional when they called Scotty's name!
I think what they did was awesome! What are your thoughts?

That's so sweet!! If only more people could do good deeds and think of other people like that! It always makes me feel happier when I hear about a story like this.
That is so sweet of them! This makes me happy to know that people arent making fun of the kids and actually awarding them for something!! I know a lot of people here at our school wouldnt do anything like where some others may.
That is an amazing thing to do! Winning Homecoming King is a pretty big deal, and being able to give it up like that to make someone else happy is awesome!

I think that its very thoughtful of those boys. It reminds me of what you see in movies, a lot of guys are very selfish and would want to keep it for themselves. It is precious that the boys had big enough hearts to give someone the award that didnt really have much of a chance because people look at them differently. Its a huge deal, if i was those boys doing that would make me feel good about myself to make someones homecoming!
Wow that is amazing. Those boys showed a lot of character and are good role models for all kids in any school.
This makes me super happy because the people were kind enough to recognize someone with a disability!! I love this! :) I think more schools should do something like this!
I wish more people were like this..he will probably remember that for the rest of his life. It's amazing how one nice thing can mean so much to someone.
