Philip Seymour Hoffman died Sunday morning due to an overdoes of heroin leaving his wife and three children. His body was found with a needle sticking out of his arm. He struggled many years with the drug addiction and was 23 years sober. 10 days before his death, he checked himself into rehab for relapsing back in 2012. The autopsy were inconclusive so they don't know what exactly killed him. "He left an enormous amount of love behind. It's a terrible loss," said Jose Rivera. Police stopped people from lingering on the street while the media was in a penned area. A bigger memorial is planned for Thursday for close friends and family.
It's sad knowing that he died because he was such a great actor. I personally liked him in Catching Fire. Why do you think he didn't get help earlier with his problem? What would you do if you lost someone from drugs?

Good choice of topic and well done!!
He was a great actor its too bad he turned to drugs. i couldn't imagine what his family is going through.
It's sad when any one turns to drugs. I bet the family feels bad because they could have detected something that was wrong but just didn't know it.
I think it is sad that people are doing so well against an addiction and then something goes wrong, and they end up dying. It would be really hard losing a family member from an addiction, it would probably take a long time to get over it.
I think that people who are doing well get pressured into doing something. They think that they can do like a little smoke or drink and that they will be fine.
This is very sad. I think people don't think to take the time and realize that it not only affects themselves, but their loved ones as well.
A lot of people have been affected even though they are not the ones doing the drugs or alcohol.
I bet it's truly hard to stop. I bet some people are ashamed of being sober for that long and going back to that bad habits. He was a great actor in multiply movies. I think it's going to be hard to replace him in the last Hunger Games film.
I would be proud if I was sober that long because it shows you how strong you are. Stopping is kind of what is making it hard for them.
It is very sad that he died that way. I feel bad for the family he left. I would have the hardest time getting over that.
