A 19 year old girl was around the interstate when she got hit by a car and the car didn't even stop, the family still has no idea who did it and just want the person to come clean. The family claims to not blame the person but only for them to come out and take the consequences. I believe that the person should come out and give the victims family closure.
1.Do you believe this person was impaired? Why?
2. Would you turn yourself in? Why?
I believe the person was impaired because he didn't even slow down, he just kept going, and honestly I would turn myself in because that is someones kid that passed away so they deserve closure.

Well done! I do think your summary is a bit brief overall.
This person must have been impaired because most people don't hit someone and then just drive off. I wouldn't have to turn myself in because I wouldn't have left in the first place. If you make a mistake stay and take the consequences.
It's horrible that someone is able to do that without slowing down and then not helping the person they just hit. I get it that you're scarred or that you freak out after you accidentally did something like that but at least have the guts and turn yourself in or check on the victim you almost killed. But as you said the driver might have been impaired in some way.
This person must have been impaired because i don't know why someone would deliberately hit an innocent person like that. I wouldn't have to turn myself in because I would've stopped at the scene where she was hit. This person must have gotten scared and fled the scene thinking that would be a better idea.
I could believe that the driver was impaired and couldn't see too well due to the time of day, but it's hard to not notice a person. I would turn myself in mainly because it's the right thing to do, but also because I couldn't live with the guilt of killing an innocent person.
I believe the person was probably impaired. I have no idea why he wouldn't stop and try to help. Most people would either send help or help the person themselves. I wouldn't just leave her there to die. I would turn myself in. My guilt of leaving a person there would catch up to me,if I didn't turn myself in.
I think that the person may have been impaired. That his probably why they didn't stay because they knew they would get in more trouble then if they weren't impaired. I would have turned myself in. I wouldn't be able to continue on with my life knowing that I may have killed someone.
that is terrible but the fact that if it was a hit and run it could have been on purpose or it could have been an accident causing the drivers to freak because they didn't know what to do. Honestly i wouldn't turn my self in if it were me because I just wouldn't feel the need to owe them anything especially if it was an accident. But if i did do it on purpose then obviously either she did something to them or they just wanted to hit somebody, but if it was an accident the reason i believe they wouldn't turn themselves in is because either she needs watch out for cars better or not walk outside again because that had to be part of it and it would be stupid to get arrested for something that she did to her self initially by not paying attention but we dont know because we dont know if they were caught yet
But why not turn yourself in right away? If you don't then the charges could be worse, just because you didn't fess up right away.
The person was probably impaired. Most people would stop and try to help. I would definitely turn myself in. However, I wouldn't have left her there. I would have tried to help. The guilt would probably be too much for me.
