Nike is a very popular sports and clothing brand that is well known throughout the world. Many people know Nike by their logo which is called the swoosh. Nike was founded in 1964 and was originally called Blue Ribbon Sports. Blue Ribbon sports was founded by Bill Bowerman who was a track coach at the University of Oregon. Blue Ribbon Sports was renamed Nike Inc in 1978. They opened their first store with their brand in it in 1966 and came out with their first Nike brand shoe in 1972. By the early 2000s Nike was very popular and was in stores in over 170 countries.
Nike started expanding their business in 1980 at a very good rate. From the 1980s up until the 2000s, Nike grew a lot because of their new products that were made for extreme sports such as snowboarding and mountain biking. In the early 2000s Nike started making technology accessories related to sports such as portable heart rate moniters. Much of Nikes success is credited towards many athletes who showcased their brand by wearing it while playing their sport. Some of Nike's most popular athletes were Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, and Roger Federer. There are also many college sports team that are sponsored by Nike such as Oregon, Texas, and Ohio State. Nike's company headquarters are still located in the same place in Oregon.

I did not know that Nike was making shoes for almost 50 years , but I do believe that they are a quality brand and have always been a huge name in the shoe industry and the clothing industry as far as I personally can remember. I have seen a lot of sports teams with Nike clothing or jerseys if its in the professional league or in college teams. I have indeed bought Nike apparel and do currently have some.
As long as I can remeber nike has been a huge name in the athletic clothing market. They have a huge history in the sports world, begining with shoes, shirts, shorts, socks many athletes love the brand and style because it's light weight and looks cool. I'm not a huge athletic apparel wearer but I do have some nike shoes and other stuff from them its very comfy.
I think that nike is a good quality brand. Nike is my favorite brand of clothing and shoes. I like to use them a lot in sports as well, I also see a lot of Nike apperal or accessories that the pros and colleges use. I buy Nike apperal all of the time, becuase it is my favorite brand of clothing.

I think Nike is a pretty quality brand, but I prefer to stick to off-brand clothes which are just as good for a significantly lower price. I think Nike produces a lot of neat clothes and shoes, as they have a wide variety of designs and patterns. As far as I can tell their items last for a long time if you treat them well, so all in all I support Nike.
