The written history streches back to 500B.C.
Im going to start at the Islamic State because I would be talking all day if I starteed at the 500B.C. era.
After the fall of the communist Najibullah-Regime in 1992. The Parties of Afghanistan agreed on a Peace-Sharing agreement they called it the Peshawar Accords. The Accords Created the Islamic State.
Islamic Empire - The taliban started bombing Kabul in 1995, but they were defeated by the Islamic State.
Recent History (2001-Presant)
On September 9th, 2001, two Arab Suicide attackers that belonged to Al Qaeda, that posed as jurnalist they detonated a bomb hidden in a video camera whle interviewing Ahmed Shah Massoud.
Some analyst believes MAssoud's death was led to 9/11 attacks, which may have been the terrorist attack that Massoud warned us of during a speech to the European Parlament.
From 2002 on, the Taliban began regrouping meanwhile, NATO assumed control of ISAF in 2003 and the rebuild of Afgahnistan began.
Between 2002 and 2010 over 5 million Afghanes returned with new skills and capital but Afghanistan is still one of the poorest countries.
NATO and Afghan Troops in recent years led many offences against the Taliban, buut was unable to dislodge their pressance. By 2009 a Taliban - led shadow government began to form complete with ther own version of meditation court.
In 2010 Barrack Obama deployed 30,000 soldiers over a 6 month period and he said to begin taking them out in 2012.
According to a report by the United Nations the Taliban are Responsible for 76% of civilian cacualties in 2009. Afghanistan is currently struggling to rebuild itself while dealing with the above mentioned problems.
