The Houston Astordome was the host to many historical sights in it's day but no one has called it home since 1999. When it opened up it was the first enclosed dome in the world. It hosted many events like Muhammad Ali's fights and Neil Armstrong's moon walk celebration. Many in Houston want the Dome to stay up and be turned into a historical landmark, but many voters think otherwise.
Should this landmark be transformed? Or destroyed?

Good job! Go Yankees!
I think it is a historical landmark because of the things that have happened there i do not think it should be destroyed.
I think they should keep it as a historical landmark because of all of what's happened there.
They could try to get more big attractions there so they could bring more people to Houston.
If people would be interested in visiting it then it should stay but I don't know if that many peple would.
And that's what it said that some people denied the money that the government was trying to give them to fix it.
I think that it should not be destroyed but stay up as museum. I don't see a reason to destroy it when you could make it a tourist attraction.
it would be a nice to see and a great source of income
If they want to keep it, people have to visit it. It would be cool if they kept it for a historical landmark. Hopefully Houston decides a way to keep the Dome.
I guess it depends if people would really come and visit this landmark, if people are thinking that they wont then there is no purpose to keep it up. But a lot of important things have happened there so I don't know what to do with it.
