The city of, Glendora California, has been getting a lot of rain for a while. The mud is clogging up the drains so the water has no where to go just making it worse. The area hasn't received this much rain in quite some time so the ground was pretty dry. If the people do not leave their home they will be trapped by all of the mud and won't be able to be rescued until it has dried and stopped moving. If they wait to leave until it starts it will be too late. Most have decided not to risk it and leave while others are willing to take the chance and stay to protect their houses while putting themselves in danger.
Would you stay or leave your home to stay safe?

Well done on both posts. Not sure why people didn't reply more.
I would definitely leave my house so I know my family would be safe. I don't know why anyone would want to risk their families life to stay in there home that isn't safe to be in.
Exactly, there is no point in putting you and your family in danger just to try and save your home when there is nothing you can do.
