A French Train had around 50 engineers and other railroad staff aboard when it fell off the tracks and crashed into a canal. The train was in the middle of a test run on a new railroad set to be opened sometime next year. Besides the 10 killed, 12 were seriously injured and 22 were slightly injured. It has been told that this accident is not linked in any way to the Terrorist Attacks on Paris. The Railroad company named TGV has not had any accidents fatal accidents in over 3 decades.
Investigations are still underway.
Knowing that a train derailed during the testing phases of the track, would you still ride this track?

No I would not I would be to scared to go on it.
I don't know if I would immediately continue to ride this track after the accident. But if it was running for several years without any incidents, then I'd probably continue to ride the track.
I wouldn't until they say its okay and its all good and they test it out more other wise until then I wouldn't go near the train.
I think I would ride this track when they would repair it and test it again until I know it's save.
If they conducted more tests and perfected the system, I would ride it. I think this was just a fluke and probably won't happen again.
I think if I ever had to use it I would definitely do it as mistakes sometimes happen and I don't think that accidents will occur after the previous accident. Of course it's horrible that this happened, but as I said before mistakes happen even in situations where they shouldn't, hopefully the engineers will re-check the system so that events as horrible as this one will never happen.
I probably would not ride that track knowing that during a test a train derailed and killed 10 people would make me want to ride a different track then that one.
I think I would still ride the train as long as it is fixed and it doesn't have any other problems.
I would not ride this track as the people who built it should know enough about it that the train should not derail especially on the first try.
