what ever happened to the guy that threw his shoe at president bush?

 

the only information i found was that he was badly beaten and drug out of the room leaving a trail of blood... 

 

and that he was put in custody and that iraquis were calling and demanding for his release.

 

does anyone else remember this, or know any more about it? what do you think should have happened to the shoe-thrower? did he ever get his shoe back?
