A taxi driver was a assaulted by someone who he was giving a ride too. It was all caught on camera. He was only attacked because he was Islamic. You can here the passenger saying slurs against the Islam face. The video is only 4 minutes. Do you think the passenger should be charged with a hate crime misdemeanor?

Why do people have to do stupid things like this. If the man was Caucasian the man probably wouldn't have attacked him. This is definetly a hate crime! And the man that assualted him should go to jail forever!
it was my understanding that a hate crime is a misdemeanor. he could also be charged with a class b felony. he should be charged the class b felony.
He should be charged because he had no reason to attack that guy other than he doesn't like his religion. People are dumb.
