Apparently a new way to distribute illegal drugs has been established. At a McDonalds in Pittsburgh, they seem to have re-invented the wheel. The operation was simple. One wishing to acquire heroin would pull up to the drive thru and ask to order a toy. They would then pull up to the first window and receive a happy meal container filled with small bags of heroin. The customer would proceed to drive away without stopping at the second window.
I, for one, found this to be quite surprising. The last place you would think of drugs being distributed would be through a fast food restaurant's drive thru. It also comes as a shock to me that the manager of this establishment didn't find out about it.
What do you think of this operation? Do you think other workers were paid off to keep quiet? Should McDonalds be investigated further?

Good summary and good job replying. This story was already done a couple of weeks ago however.
I think this is very wrong. I think the workers had to of been paid not to tell, and I also think other fast food restaurants should be investigated just to make sure other restaurants aren't doing the same thing.
This is really scary to me because children and other people get food from the same place that is dealing hard drugs.
that is smart but awful, um i wouldn't be surprised if the workers were paid off and yeah i would investigate it further just in case theres more to it
I think McDonald's should be investigated to see if this situation is happening in more of their restaurant. It's sad that some people are so desperate for drugs that they would go to a public restaurant for it.
Wow thats a crazy story. A kid could have asked for a toy and gotten drugs
This is awful ! What would have happened if someone really just wanted a toy? It's sad that someone would abuse little kid toys like this.
I think they should investigate it further and see what turns up... One thing that bothers me though is what if some kid asked for a toy?... they would've been in for a surprise
I think that the dealers should expand this operation to Burger Kings everywhere. jk. You're right, that is one of the last places I would expect to find drugs.
I agree, this was smart on the dealers part. Never have I ever heard of something like this.
