It's been two years since the earthquake in Haiti, and the reconstruction effort is still uderway. The United States has commited over $3 billion for Haiti, over the last two years.
It seems like this happened just yesterday.

It doesn't feel like two years ago it barely feels like one. I kind of wonder why we sent about $3 billion to Haiti because I wonder if they would do the same if we had an earthquake in the United States.
