The hacker group "Anonymous" declared war on ISIS on Monday through a YouTube video, by today the video has had 1.3 million views. Though the video is hard to authenticate, the group have made other claims and has followed through. The video is 3 minutes long and full of thundering orchestral music.
Not much is know about the leaders of this group they are very secretive, they last "attack" was on a website about killing dolphins, around a week later the website mysteriously diapered
This is one of the things they said in the video, it is clear that they mean business, no one is sure what they are going to do.
“We are going to launch the biggest operation every mounted against you — get ready for a multitude of cyber attacks. War has been declared.”
What do you think, do you think that they will follow through?
And what are your thought about other "groups" join in on the fight against ISIS?

Good topic choice! You only did one of your stories.
I think it's very good that more and more groups get involved into the IS problems. Although I think that Anonymous is very strong and powerful, I don't think that they can do much in the fights against ISIS. I understand that they can hack their websites and delete them so that no one can use them, but I don't understand how that can destroy ISIS.
I apsolutky think that they will fallow through I seem very serious plus im pretty sure someone wouldent just say they were going to do that to Isis if they dident mean it.
I think that they are going to get they US in a lot of truble and they are going to get there selfs in truble.
It's good that they're doing something about it since our government isn't doing enough to put a stop to them. Hopefully they'll be able to help hinder the ISIS operations that are going on.
I think that this group will definitely follow through because if a nation like the US can't find you and figure out who you are, how are some rag tag terrorists going to? I really hope that they not only attack but completely destroy ISIS's social media, because that is how they recruit outside of the middle east. The fact that other groups are joining in to destroy ISIS is a key that no one like them.
I do think that this particular group of hackers will follow through on their threats, since they obviously are angry and will use their hacking experience as a weapon to combat ISIS. This is very needed, since this is the first war in the history of the world where the internet has been used as a source of knowledge and recruitment, so the need to tap into ISIS intelligence networks is key. Even though there is not much known about this group or their motives, America and the rest of the world needs all the help they can get to battle the threat of ISIS. I think we'd much rather want to have this group against ISIS instead of supporting them, so I think this could possibly be a positive thing.
I think they should work with our leaders so they get information that government cant get. And its good that they are attacking ISIS.
That would be nice, but they are secretive, though could send it anonymously
From what they have done in the past I would say that they are also going to go through with they threats, and I am about 50/50 with you, i think they should stay out, but they could really help
