In recent news a poll was taken about the gun control law it was agreed that most people wanted much more extensive background checks. On an average about 90 percent of the polls were in favor of looking into the mental history of someone buying a gun of any kind. It became known that congress was focused on back ground checks and mental health issues.
I think that the new laws are good and not restricting.

I don't see why everyone wouldn't want background checks. There is no reason not to have one. Besides background checks, and extended magazines I still think the other gun bans are pointless.
Sure this could benefit a little but in the long run it won't completely stop shootings. The majority of guns are used for good things anyway.
Background checks are ok and might do some good, but i feel that people might not like this because it will become boring while you have to wait and aggravate people. However, this will not stop all because not everyone that has had a big shooting would have failed a background test.
