Gun control law and should it be more restricting. As a gun owning citizen I think the gun control laws should be motored more heavily. Because citiznes who legally carry and use there firearms responsibilly are being punished by people who obtain there firearms illeagally and use them irresponsiblilly. Such as a citizen over 18 can open carry a firearm as long as they have a legal permit and have proof of the permit on there persons. But citizens who illegally carry firearms and use them for example in mass shootings, or other sitiations are the reason why good firearm users are getting punished. The Government needs to extend background searches. Personally think that the use of fully auto wepons should be more monitored considering it's not that hard to make a semi- auto wepon full auto. But in the end guns don't kill people.

Great topic choice and I like the fact that your summary are your thoughts! You replied pretty well but could have commented back a few more times. While your summary are your own thoughts, I do think the summary could have been expanded a bit more. Also, be sure to ask questions so students so they know what to reply to.
I belive that if you have a permit to carry a weapon, you have all right to carry it when you want to and where you want to. People carry weapons to protect themselves and the people close to them. I also think that the government needs to do a deeper background cheeck on people that buy and or own a weapon.
I believe that they do need more extensive background check on the people purchasing the guns to make sure that they don't get used for other reasons other then for protection. I believe that it is not right to punish all the legal gun owners for things that illegal gun owners.
I think people that have thier pemrit to carry should at least beable to carry their weapon around for their saftey and for others. I would want all the prtection and all thegun rights we can get. Its the people that don't use guns the right way is why they try to take out gun right away.
There should be more restrictions on gun control laws. There are bad people in the world and a lot of them have access to guns. The government should take gun control seriously and set more restrictions and deeper background searches. FInally, I agree that guns don't kill people, it is the person behind the trigger.

I agree that gun control laws should be more strict, but there is a very fine line between not strict enough and too strict. A good example of too strict is mexico, where in a poll of mixed years there have been 13,069 gun related deaths. So I agree that there should be a bit more restrictions but not too much.
I agree, but when a firearm is sold we can't deciede what that person is gonna use the wepon for.
You'll never be able to know for sure whether or not someone you legally sell a gun to is going to act illegally with it or not. However, I think it would be in everyone's best interest to make the gun laws stricter and the process of obtaining one harder with more obligations. For example, I think 18 is way to young to be able to have a gun. We have the legal age for drinking and smoking tobbacco products set as age 21, yet something that could be used to kill instantly, you could legally get at 18.
I will have to agree to disagree with you on this reply, personally think that 18 is not to young to own a gun it's all about your intentions with the firearm and having the proper training and safety classes.
