Government Free Healthcare

In today's world access to good healthcare has become a need for every person. While healthcare is paid for by citizens, there is a growing agreement that the government should step in and provide free healthcare.

One reason why the government should provide free healthcare is to make sure there is equal access for all citizens. In a society where 16.9% (54,739,446) of US citizens cannot afford healthcare. By offering free healthcare, the government can help everyone get the medical attention they need regardless of their income level.

Providing free healthcare can have a positive impact on public health. When individuals can receive medical attention without worrying about financial problems. This can lead to early detection and treatment of diseases resulting in better overall health outcomes for the population. Free healthcare can also promote regular check-ups, vaccinations, and ultimately prevent the spread of diseases.

Access to healthcare is every person's right, and providing it for free can help many people. When people do not have to worry about their healthcare or how they are going to pay for the bills, it provides a relief. By prioritizing the needs of citizens, the government can have a better relationship with the people.

  • I love the topic and yoiur summary is pretty good. I would like to know the history of free health care. Where did gthe idea start? What countries have it? It is a week and a half late.

  • I think that free health care is more benifical then not. Free health care can help everybody and not just the people who can not affored health care. For example it can help not spread diseases and sicknesses as bad.

    • I agree with you, it would help way more people which is better in the long run

  • I think it would be beneficial for the government to provide free healthcare to all, but not necessary. I think the government should provide some sort of financial aid for people who can't afford to buy their own healthcare at full price.

  • I think it would be benifical, especially since you see those people, specifcally cancer patients who don't have enough money for treatment. Though the only issue I could see with free healthcare from what I've heard is that waiting lists for even a hospital take forever. For example someone with a collasped lung will have to wait for someone with a simple cold to be done in the office before they can go.

  • I think free healthcare would be good for people in genral because people would not have to worry about spendig money and becoming broke over the doctors office.

  • I agree that free healthcare would be better for the general public. Personally, I know plenty of people who have avoided going to the doctor for the fear that they would spend money just to be told that it would pass with time. This oftentimes makes bad sicknesses/injuries worse.

    • I agree with you, people get worse by skipping going to the doctor because of money so if its free people wouldnt have to worry.

  • I think a lot more good can come from providing free health care then not. If more people can resive treatment, then more deseases can be provented and more dicoveres can be made quicker.

  • I think the government should help pay healthcare for the people who cant afford it. I think this would help a lot of people that need healthcare.
