After gopro going public in June of 2014 shares skyrocketed. but in recent months gopro has nearly fallen below 31$ a share. The reason for this is because gopro has not released new and better products.
But their main problem is drone makers. The reason is because people are more attracted to watching you in the shot other than what you saw. But most of these drones but a big hole in your pocket. But since there are only a hand full of these drones gopro still has awhile before gopro could be hurt by these drones.

I do youtube and have a gopro i think that they are great and the work perfect i would be a stock in gopro and all that but i am broke right now. I would buy both
I would prefer a drone because they are able to capture the moments for me instead of me have to drag a camera along and take the pictures myself. The gopro allows me to be in the shot instead of taking it.
I think GoPro will definitely make better models in the future. It is probably difficult to make advancements on a complicated piece of technology. I think I would rather have a GoPro. I have seen many people using them, and they seem pretty cool.
I hope that this makes GoPro start releasing new products, because they definitely need to! My younger brother has a GoPro and it's pretty cool, so I'd probably pick that over the drone.
Yes, I think Gopro will definitely start releasing better models of their product since it's the only way to stay competitive with companies that make drones and to keep from going into economic trouble. Personally, I'd much rather have a Gopro than a drone because I like the idea of being able to access what you actually saw and remembered at the time you recorded the video, instead of just having an over view shot of yourself.

I think go pro will have to look to the next best thing.. everything gets an upgrade as time goes on to yes they might make another model.. I think both are fun.
