Google Joins Fight Against Slavery

People think there is no more slavery in the world, but they are wrong. World wide there are between 10 million and 30 million slaves worldwide. Now Google is starting to join the fight to end slavery!

 

 

Thoughts? I think this is good, Slavery needs to end! Everyone is equal.

thats really bad. slavery is bad and wrong. sometimes being a slave is good though, because then you get food and better living and working conditions. but most of the time its really bad.

I would love it if people stopped treating each other unequally. It needs to stop! I hate it that skin color is a difference! Blacks, Whites,...Greens! Whatever! As long as you have a beating heart (and a brain would help) we're the same!

While I do agree with Colin, slavery is still a big problem. It's just disusting that some people think that they can own another! Why not work to improve life for those people instead of saying how slavery can benefit them?
I'm happy that google is working to help end slavery! Maybe someday all slavery will be gone, and we can actually begin to improve people's lives...

In some situations slavery can actually benefit some people (although this is a rare occasion). In Third World countries where life is horrible as it is, the inhabitants prefer to be a "slave." When you're a slave, you have to work hard in poor conditions, but you get food and something of a shelter. Food and shelter are, in some cases, not available for Third World citizens at a constant rate and they find themselves sleeping in and eating dirt. These people would prefer to be slaves since they work, eat, and have a place to sleep.
