Early this week Drug Lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, a notorious drug dealer, was finally arrested after being on the run since 2001. On January 19, 2001, Joaquin escaped from jail by hiding in a laundry basket, dressing up in a police uniform and simply walking out the front gates. Since then he had been on the run around the world with the Mexican Marines and the U.S Drug Enforcement Administration after him.
Joaquin controlled the Sinaloa cartel or as some might say "empire". His cartel is known for smuggling large amounts of marijuana, cocaine, meth and herion into the United States and many shoot outs where civilians were killed.
On February 22, 2014, at 6:40 a.m he was caught at a hotel in Mazatlan, Mexico with a woman we don't know the name of. Joaquin will be tried in New York.
Do you think the Sinaloa cartel will crumble without leader Guzman? Do you think someone will take over as leader? Do you think he could escape again?

I'm sure now they have gotten plenty more security and he will not escape. I do although am guessing that they will have a new leader take over and probably keep it going well.
I think they will make it so that he is not able to escape again! I am guessing another person will take it over, but it might not be the same as it was with him.
If he mattered in any way to the cartel then they would make sure he would never be found.
I'm sure someone will step up as leader for the cartel quickly. I think that Guzman won't be able to escape again as he probably be placed in a more secure cell or prison where escaping would be near impossible
He pry wont escape again but the cartel will still be In order they can function without him
I think that someone will end up take over the cartel. I bet since he has already escaped prison before, that they will have him in maximum security or somewhere he won't be able to escape again.
Good thing they caught him, but I think that someone will take over the cartel until he escapes again. He will probably just pay a bunch of people off.
His suppliers will probably take over but they wont know very much like he did and when he did this, he messed up a lot of chances that he could have had on a high power. If he is very determined then he will want to go back
I am guessing someone will take over. I doubt he will escape again.
