Global Warming-Fact or Fiction?

This came up recently in CWI and want to ask students what they think. Is global warming really happening or is it a hoax?

I beleive it is true..because of what i heard you saying the other day Mr. Bruns...and i have always heard the term so im just going to stay with it

I think weather is in fact getting warmer and Winter is starting later, and i do believe in Global Warming.

im pretty sure it could be happening but we just dont know it as where other places do

One thing that I think we may be over looking is that, Couldn't this just be a cycle in the earth's weather? We haven't been on the planet long enough to know. I think that there are things that we could to to prevent it, but I don't think that we should be completely to blame for it.

In WWII me and my men were fightning the Japanese in the battle of midway and we were fighting in 105 degree weather global warming is nothing compared to those days

105? you got it easy. when I was in troop 72 in 'Nam, temperatures reached well over two hundred degrees.

i think that is kinda going on but at the same time if you look back in history it happened then but then we have the global freezing so i really dont think its that big of an issue.

I think it's true.. And I agree with Jena. Since we live in Iowa we probably don't feel global warming, but people in Alaska and other places up there might.

it depends on your own personal opinions. i see how it could be real from all the emissions and such but at the same time it could just be an excuse for hippies to emerge once again.

I think it is a fact. I believe its a fact because we have been told and have heard things about it for so long. just because it doesnt exactly happen where we live doesnt mean i will think it doesnt happen. I think places like alaska and other cold places like that.. greenland Ect. are more effected and realize its happening.
