Global Warming, defined by the Webster Dictionary, is " a warming of the earth's atmosphere and oceans that is thought to be a result of air pollution."
There is no debate when saying that our planet is changing. Earth's average temperature has risen .32 degrees Fahrenheit per decade since 1981. This is more than twice the average amount of usual .14 degrees Fahrenheit. There are many different reasons that this is happening, including greenhouse gases (Carbon dioxide, Methane, Nitrous oxide, etc.), deforestation, and agricultural activities. These cause not only global warming, but also ozone depletion, higher wildlife extinction rates, as well as more frequent severe weather.
I've heard from many that global warming is definitely effecting our world and future. There have been many rumors that the earth will spped to an end because of these climate changes. For example, there are multiple theories suggesting that global warming and our destabilized environment will lead to a drastically lower quality of life. These speculations include but is not limited to : temperature rises, higher sea levels, massive losses of agriculture, major reduction of freshwater sources, collapsing of ecosystems, icreased droughts, and extremely severe weather.
On the other hand, others have been ignoring these issues, claiming that there is nothing life-threatening occuring. They claim that the world changes, as seen in ice ages and seasons. However, there is no correlation between these drastic heatings of the planet and the natural heating and cooling of the planet. I have also heard that the renewable energy and other climate change orginizations are just schemes used to steal money from the public. I personally don't understand how individuals cannot see this timelines of excruciating effects in the future. However, if I were ignorant and delusional enough, I may be able to see into the very nearly imperceptible lense of those who don't "believe in global warming".
Do you think global warming is real?
What would be some changes you would be willing to make in your life to contribute less to climate change?
How much do you think climate change and global warming are effecting our world?

Good topic choice and well done overall Gianna! Next time, do a better job of commenting on three different days. -10 one day late
Overall, I think it is hard to prove and show the causes of climate change and "global warming". I think I would need to have more studies and proof before I deciede whether I believe it or not. I think that overall as people we should strive to keep it clean and keep a healthy place that our futures generations can live good lives.
Luckily, there have been a lot of studies and proof of climate change recently. A quick google search will show dozen of articles and studies defending the statement that global warming and climate change do, in fact, exist. I do agree that there is always more that we can do for a clean, happy environment for future generations and animals.
I think global warming real. There are multiple sources that state so, and we are able to see the direct affects it has on the environment. Icebers are melting at higher rates than before. We can see these changes, which is enough to know that global warming is a real thing. I believe that even if we try to do something about it, it won't matter unless different goverments from all over the world also step in and demand changes.
Yes, what is also important to note is that these changes we see with icebergs melting and other changes are not correlating with natural cycles of the earth. The reason the earth is heating now is solely because of human activities that those who care too much about their own greed refuse to stop.
I do think that global warming is real because there is a lot of proof showing that it is, but I do not think that it is effecting our world enough to make major changes. I think that if we change how much fossil fuels are being used that it would help global warming.
I do think global warming is real, however I think some aspects of it are over exageratted. I have never really gone outside and said, "Wow, it feels .32 degrees hotter out here than a decade ago." However I have definetly noticed droughts, not as harsh winter, etc. I do think there is something to do about it, but I don't have any big idea that could stop global warming.
While it may seem over exaggerated, you may just not be able to see the devastating effects of climate change around you. A few days ago, it was a nice spring day. Now, it is snowing and ice is forming on the ground. This is an example of the severe weather changes that may have not happened in the past.
I do think that global warming is real. I do think that it is bad because it is causing a lot of harm to the world. There are plenty of studies and statistics showing that global warming is real. There are many things that we could do to prevent or help out situation.
Global warming is bad because people are using more gas, and it is affecting the environment and the global temperature. Yes, global warming is a serious problem. The winters are not long and snowyand the summer temperatures are hotter than normal. We need to plant more trees, and use less gas to prevent further heat waves.
