On Saturday October 14th, an 8-year old girl died while on a cruise ship in Miami, Florida. She died after falling from the cruise ships interior atrium to the lower deck of the ship. She was said to have fallen after the cruise ship, Carnival Glory, had made its stop and finished its voyage early in the morning. She fell around 8:15 am and was rushed immediately to the Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where she then later died. Investigators are still working with the Carnival Cruise Lines to discover more details of this accident. The Miami Fire-Rescue believes she fell 20 feet from the landing. The cruise ship was later turned over to Carnival in order to resume normal operations. The corporate's of the Carnival Glory are sending their deepest sympathy to the family during this time.

1.) I would be terrified and worried if this happened while I was on the ship. I would try to get immediate help as soon as possible. It would be very frightening, but I would want everyone to try to remain as calm as possible.
2.) I think the girl might have fell from the ship by leaning over the deck of the interior atrium or playing near the edge of it. I am not sure exactly how it happened, though.

I would feel so bad for the family of this child. I probably wouldnt be able to live with myself because i saw it but couldnt do anything about it. If i was on the ship I would try my best to help this child have her life back.
It would be very scary to be in this situation. There are probably many ways why the girl fell of the atrium and I am sure the authorities investigating will figure it out.
If i was on the cruise ship and i saw her fall i would alert someone if i heard about this i would be heartbroken. to die at such a young age is terrible and no parent should have to bury their child. I think she probably was looking over the deck and slipped.
Id be pretty scary to know that something like that could happen to you or your family. the girl was probably young and liked to climb on things and accidentally climbed over the railing.

I would be scared and freaked out. This is horrible and it would scare me and I would be scared for other so they dont fall off also. I honestly dont know she could have been messing around and playing on the rail and fell off.
I would be very sacred because someone might of have caused her to and I am on the same hip as her so I would be very sacred. I people she was unsupervised and nobody on the ship knew what was going on and she just fell. But someone also might have pushed her off the railing.
1. I agree I would be totally terrified, I would rush to the girl and yell out for help. I would also be concerned about other children also because I wouldn't want any other kids falling off the edge and getting injured. 2. I think maybe she was looking over the railing and just fell over. I would think the parents would be watching her closely since they are on a cruise ship, so that is also kind of suspicious.
I would be nervous and careful of what I did the for the rest of the trip and make sure that the same thing does not happen to me. I think he was messing around or something like that or she was leaning over it.
