As you guys may know, politicians usually have a theme song. There has been the quagmire with Bachman using "American Girl", which she was denied to use. But now Gingrich is being sued for using "Eye of the Tiger" at campaign things.
Newt isnt the first to be sued. In 2008, John McCain was sued for using "Running on Empty" and months after that Chuck DeVore had legal action taken by the owners of the recording companies which own rights to "Boys of Summer" and "All She Wants To Do Is Dance".
These past candidates got rid of the song and backed out and gave apologies to the public.
I think its quite funny that they can get sued. You'd think they would rewrite it or put in new words to make a parody because then it wouldn't be illegal due to the parody laws.
