Former President George W Bush calls for the government shutdown to end. This current weekend he delivered many pizzas to his Secret Service detail. The Secret Service detail and many workers around the United States aren't getting paid. George W Bush stated "@LauraWBush and I are grateful to our Secret Service personnel and the thousands of Federal employees who are working hard for our country without a paycheck. And we thank our fellow citizens who are supporting them," Bush wrote, "It's time for leaders on both sides to put politics aside, come together, and end this shutdown." Today is the 29th day of the governement shutdown.George W Bush continues to speak out agianst President Trump and want's the divison to end. Democrats and Republicans still haven't worked together. Democrats do think a wall is immoral and not the right soultion. They did say they would find a soultion if he ended the shutdown. Trump had a speech today and announced that he would give funding for DACA but Democrats refuse to give funding for the wall.

I think it's time for the govenment shutdown to end. Many workers are continuing to work hard for our country and not get a paycheck. I have heard many stories about airports and people not having security checks and Public Parks getting ruined. I think it's time for Democrats and Republicans to come together and figure something out and end this government shutdown.

I hope this ends in some border security as it is an issue, also hopefully some DACA support. I don't want this but I don't think this will end and they won't work together. Democrats are very out and saying that they won't give him a wall. Hopefully they do set poltics aside and end up working together and fixing America.

I think that the government shutdown should end because it's been too long for workers that aren't getting paid. I don't see both sides coming together because Trump is a very stubborn person and the democrats can't do anything about his stubborness. However, I do wish that they would comprimise and get these workers their paychecks.
I agree with you, definitely it should end. The governments been shutdown for over 32 days now. Many workers aren’t getting paid and really nothing’s come out of this shutdown.
I think it is time for the Government shutdown to end becasue many good workers that work for the government need to have their paycheck. Some are living paycheck to paycheck, so if they go without it for a period longer than necessary, they might not be sitting in a good position.

I think that the government shutdown needs to stop so that the workers can receive their pay and not quit, but I think that neither side will back down from each other. I think that the only way to end the shutdown is for Trump to get his wall and for the Democrats to get citizenship for all the dreamers and illegal immigrants currenlty in our country.
Yeah, I agree with you Dominic, it’s time for an agreement or people are going to get fed up. I think it’s a fair deal but a lot of Democrats don’t want a wall and also some republicans don’t either.

1. I think that both sides to come to an agreement, that ending the shutdown is what is best for everyone. Many people are working without pay, but will get back pay, and others are not working, but are also not going to get paid. The shutdown has lasted too long for some people to have enough money for food.
2. I don't see both sides coming together, but maybe a miracle could happen. Both sides feel very strong about their opinion and are not going to let the other side win. President Trump has offered a few better deals that the Democrats haven't accepted. I feel like both sides could become civilized adults and agree on something to end the shutdown.
I agree with you, it's time for them to finally work together and come up with an agreement. I know they will get their paycheck after this ends but some are serisoulsy struggling and having to use food stamps and find ways to get money. Hopefully something happens soon and they work together.
