Gender identity is one's own way of identifying their gender, whether that is man, woman, neither or both. If you asked a group of people how many genders there are, you would get many different answers such as 2, 6, 14 etc. Personally, I believe there are only two genders male and female. There are many different reasons for this like roles, behaviors, and activities. Nowadays society at a given time considers it appropriate for men and women to divide labor for certain jobs. A person born with both male and female parts also known as intersex a disorder of sexual development, Majority of parent choose whether that child is a boy or girl.
There's a question going around right now and that is Should “gender identity” be added to anti-discrimination laws? 56% of Iowa said yes and that the government should do more to protect minorities from discrimination. The other 44% said no that the government should address gender identity as a mental health issue and provide funds for more research and care for those who need it, or that there are only two genders which are genetically determined not psychologically determined. I don't believe that gender identity should be added to anti-discrimination, because your born with either XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes unless intersex happens but in the end the baby is chosen to be a boy or girl.

I think that gender identity should be added to anti-discrimination laws, gender identity is different from sex gender identity is how you feel and sex is how you were born. there should be no reason to hate on someone and call their identity a mental disorder. It's harsh and cruel.
I somewhat agree with you, I belive that if gender identity got added to the anti-discrimination law that is would just cause more issues. I agree with the no hate towards people who think differently than others. It's a mean and rude thing to do, but that will always be an issue with this topic.
There are most deffinetly only 2 genders, male and female. I do not think that we should hate the people who think there are more, but I do not agree. I do not think they should make a law against it because everyone has a right to their own oppinion.
I agree with you, there are two genders and people will most definitely think differently, that there is more than that. There should never be hate towards those people who think differently because everybody has their own thoughts and the rights to think what they want.

I think that you should just get over it because there is always someone who doesnt agree with you. If this becomes a law I think that everybody would probally protest, so they should just forget about making it a law.
I agree with you, there will always be two different sides for this debate, one that agrees and the other that does not. People nowadays get offended by almost everything so making the law wouldn't do anything but probably just cause more issues.
