Gender identity is one's own way of identifying their gender, whether that is man, woman, neither or both. If you asked a group of people how many genders there are, you would get many different answers such as 2, 6, 14 etc. Personally, I believe there are only two genders male and female. There are many different reasons for this like roles, behaviors, and activities. Nowadays society at a given time considers it appropriate for men and women to divide labor for certain jobs. A person born with both male and female parts also known as intersex a disorder of sexual development, Majority of parent choose whether that child is a boy or girl.
There's a question going around right now and that is Should “gender identity” be added to anti-discrimination laws? 56% of Iowa said yes and that the government should do more to protect minorities from discrimination. The other 44% said no that the government should address gender identity as a mental health issue and provide funds for more research and care for those who need it, or that there are only two genders which are genetically determined not psychologically determined. I don't believe that gender identity should be added to anti-discrimination, because your born with either XX chromosomes or XY chromosomes unless intersex happens but in the end the baby is chosen to be a boy or girl.

Personally, I think there is only 2 genders, but I think you can identify as whatever you want. But not like a dog or a building, thats just werid. There shouldn't be a law about anti-discrimination.
I agree with you, people can identify however they want, but identifying as a dog, cat, and such other things I believe they shouldn't be able to because it's plain weird. But people shouldn't say bad things about the people who want to identify like that.
This is a great topic and thank you for writing about it. Personally, I think there are only two biological genders male and female. There is no other than XX, and XY in someone's DNA. But I support anyone who wants to be a female, not a male or the other way around, but for medical reasons there are only male treatments for males and female treatments for females. So I think there are only two genders but people are free to express themselves. i don't think there should be a law.
I agree with you people are either born with XX or XY unless there are other situations that cause you to have XXY in which care your parents chose what you are. People have the right to identify themselves however they want but in certain cases there is only male and female.
I think that only two genders make sense. You either have female or male body parts, making you a man or a woman. I don't think that the gender identity law should be added to the anti-discrimination law because people will never agree with everything.
I agree with you, people are born with either male or female parts making you male or female. I agree with you, people have their own opinions on that topic and have the right to think what they want to think, but typically people will get offended if you think that there are only two genders. Although its just an opinion on a topic everybody has a right to think what they want about this.
I belive that there are only two genders. I think that you are born either a male or a female. I think that it should not becuase people could take advatage of it and it could cause more problems with the sexual assult and all of those issues.
I agree with you, getting gender identity added to the aint-discrimintaion law and if it got added it could cause more trouble, many more issues with other people. People would 100 percent take advantage of certain cases if it was added.
