Recently there have been more and more robberies on gas stations in California. For those who don’t know, the average gas price there is around $5 a gallon. Here is a story of one robbery. A man and a woman stole more than $4,500 or 1,100 gallons of gas within 3 days. That is enough gas to make 4 round trips from LA to NY. They came by at night and disabled the gas payment meter. They came by the next day in a black truck that had an extra tank in the back and filled up. The next day they tried it during the day and were caught on video. I think that it would be a really big problem if it started to happen all over the country. I hope that others have learned to not do this.
