From Sexual Conduct to Murder

Orson William Black, a Fugitive American polygamist, was found living in Mexico hiding from US authorities on November 8, 2017. He started off a fugitive because he was charged back in 2003 with sexual conduct and attempt to commit sexual abuse to a minor. While he was awaiting trial, he fled the States and went into Mexico. While he was in Mexico, he had committed 3 murders, which were ages 15, 19, and 23 and were all Americans which lead authorities to think that Black was human trafficking. Mexican authorities traced found his name in records and handed him over to American custody. And on top of that, he had been keeping heads and/or bodies of exotic animals.

  1. How do you think he may have gotten himself and others to cross into Mexico without being caught?

I think he was able to do this the same way that Mexican citizens cross into US but backwards.

       2. How do you think he was able to get by paying for everything with 4 wives?

I think he sold the exotic animal parts for more then he got them.

  • While your summary is fine, you only commented once. That is worth 20 points.

  • 1. He could have tipped someone off or gotten snuck across by friends

    2. Drug running, made them pay, human trafficking makes big money

  • I think he planned it out and crossed the border just like Mexican citizens do coming into the US. I think he was human trafficking because people get paid a lot to do that and he could have also so sold body parts from animals on the black market

    • I agree with you about how he probably planned his trip to get to Mexico. I also wonder if he went by himself or if he went with a group of people. I also agree with you about he was doing. I think he mainly sold the animals body parts on the black market, because the animal parts are probably worth a lot.

  • He more than likely lied to get across the borders, using anything to get him into Mexico. He probably did illegal things to get lots of money, he more than likely stole money. Or borrowed money from people acting like he will pay them back.

  • After he could have escaped police custody he probably got a fake name and id to get himself to Mexico without being captured. He could have just got into a vehicle or so to get there but otherwise i'm not sure how he did it. But in terms of money with what little information we have he could have been responsible and gotten a job or he could have killed and stole? With his background i'm not sure which one he could have done.

  • He most likely got a fake id or drove before the borders knew about him. Probably stole from people and sold it or just sold his things and made money or he could have gotten a job.

  • There's probably more way than one for people to cross into Mexico noticed. With those exotic animals parts you probably would get paid a lot from the right buyer for them. I'm not sure what he could of had maybe like elephant tusks and lion teeth or something like that but to be able to support 4 wives and they have no idea what you were doing he must have been talented.

  • Like you said, I think he was able to do this the same way that people use to cross the Mexican-American border. I think that he either sold drugs or the animal parts for lots of money which would provide for his wives.

  • i Think by crossing through the wall or cars buses something like that or plane anything stealing money working different jobs it could have been anything in this area of robbery and or anything like that
