Free Food

Today is National Pancake Day according to IHOP. The reason they dubbed the 5th of February is because many people are trying to get rid of dairy products before Lent. It is an old tradition apparently. I honestly don't know about Lent really, so maybe this isn't true anymore! The restaurant is trying to raise money for a children's fund. You can go into an IHOP and get a stack of free buttermilk pancakes. 2013's Miss America will be flipping pancakes at the Hollywood IHOP. This is a great idea I think because there are many children who could benefit from this money! What are your thoughts?

Pancakes are yummy!! I think that i need to road trip it down to the Hollywood IHOP!

I think this is a great way to raise money for children! Everyone loves pancakes.

This is a good and bad idea for ihop. Good because all the money is going to a good cause. Bad because a lot of people are going to get fat off pancakes.

i wish we had an IHOP i wouldnt mind getting free pankes. Im not sure why they would be getting rid of dairy products before lent because in lent catholics give up meat so i am confused about that

I think it is a really good way to make some money for those kids. I also think that it is good for the people too because who doesn't enjoy free pancakes.

pancakes and waffles are the best, i could eat them all the time. but i didnt know the other day was pancake day or i definatly would have had them for dinner! bummer!

This is a pretty good idea because the Children's fund could benefit and people get free food. IHOP is pretty good and who doesn't want free food.

This is weird i dont know why people would get rid of dairy products before lent, because people cant eat meat not dairy, so this doesnt make since
