The family lost a kid and everything that they own. There is a place with donations set up in Council Bluffs. If you would like to bring some stuff for them I can make sure they get dropped off.  Here is what was listed.

The kids are 3 boys that are age five and six (sizes 5t and 6t) and a girl who is age three (size 3t). Dad is 34 x 34 pants and 2x shirt. Mom is 16 pants and large shirt. They don't have any clothes at all and the kids don't have any toys. If you can help them out, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • It must be hard to have everything taken away.  I hope they get the support and care they need!

  • This is just sad! im so glad their are good people out there helping this family out and getting clothes for them and every thing. Im glad they do this for familys that loose everything but its so sad that they lost their three year old.

  • I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else anytime soon. Especially since all of those fires in the west are still spreading out across the U.S.

  • This is awful! It could happen to anyone, but it's unfortunate that it had to happen to a family, and on top of that, lose a child. I have a bunch of nieces/nephews, who are around the age of the little kids. I couldn't imagine losing one of them, I would be devastated, as would the rest of my family. Hopefully people will step up and help the family get back on their feet.

  • This is a sad tragedy. I couldn't imagine having everything destroyed, that you could no longer use it. I hope businesses and communities help them out, and give them some of the things they need.

  • I this is so sad! I hope that there are some kind people that can help them out. You never know when this can happen to you and your family, it so sad.
