Morris Berger, A coachfor the the Grand Vally State football team has resighned after making a comment about Adolf Hitler, the Nazi Leader during WWll. During one of the coaches interviews, the coach was asked if he could have dinner with a famous person from the past. The coach said "I'm going to say Adolf Hitler. It was obviously very sad and he had bad motives, but the way he was able to lead was second-to-none." The coach resigned shortly after the interview because he was getting suspended. The coach stated that he was sad that he wound no longer be albe to help the team but he also did not want to interupt there football career.
Do you think the coach should be punished for his statement
Yes because Hitler is responsible for millions of deaths and should not be honnored
What would you do if you were in charge of the coach
I would have to fire him or suspend him from a few games

Good overall Connor. I do think your summary could be longer as most of it is a quote. I also think your personal thoughts are brief.
I think he should be because Hitler did cause a lot of deaths and injuries to other people but at the same time, I don't think he should because he is saying what he thinks and they did ask who he would dine with they asked for his answer and they go it he spoke the truth. I would ask for his reasoning of why he would want to dine with Hitler and if was tied to being mean I would fire him.
He should definitely be punished. Hitler was a very bad man, and no one should be praising him for anything. He was responsible for a lot of terrible things. I would fire him or punish him majorly, like suspend him.
I do think that he should be punished for his statement. Even if this was his truthful answer, this is one of those things that you leave in your thoughts and don't really bring up. I don't usually think it's right to lie, but in this case just come up with something other than your first impulse. It ruins his and his team's image because they're being lead by someone who looks up to Hitler. Plus, they're so many other great leaders in history that didn't murder millions, who he could have said instead.
Yes, I think the coach should be punished because that was a terrible comment. That was a terrible time in history for everyone. Adolf Hitler was a terrible guy and he should not be able to say that he would have dinner with him. If I were in charge of the coach, I would definitely fire him. He would never work for me or my team.
I agree, He definently chose a bad person to have dinnedr with. There are many other options out there in the world to have dinner woth but he chose Hitler and that is innopropriate. I agree that the coach should be suspended from some football games.
No, I don't, I mean yes Hitler was a very bad and nasty person and he knew that he was and I would want to talk to someone like that to figure out why he did what he did and what was going thru his head. If I was in charge of the coach I may have him make a public statement on what and why he said what he said and apoligise to anyone that he may have affended, but I wouldnt have fired him.
I think Hitler was not a good choice to say. Hitler was a killer and coulnd not be trusted, There are a lot of beffer leaders in the worl that anyone could choce besided hitler. If i was incharge, I would suspend him not want him to say somthing like that every again
No, I don't think that he should have been punished because he acknowledge how bad Hitler was, but he wanted to meet him just to see what Hitler was really like. I would do nothing if I was in charge of him, because I think that he was just answering a question honestly, and he did nothing wrong.
No I don't think he should've been punished, because he was asked a questinon and he simply answered. His answer wasn't the best but that doesn't mean he should exactly be punished. The coach was just speaking his mind and we have the right to do so.
