64-year-old Polly Richards instigated a fight with 69-year-old Linwood Moore after he cut ahead of her in line to pay while she was preoccupied with getting a drink. Witnesses saw Richards curse at Moore and shove him against the wall after grabbing his shirt. At some point, Moore was also slapped in the face. During the incident, Richards also allegedly threw a plate that cracked 62-year-old Fay Cardwell in the leg and caused swelling on her shin and knee. I think she overreacted in this situation. It just overall a really weird, entertaining story.
This is ridiculous, first of all they are old and shouldn't have the energy to do this kind of stuff but i guess when old people get mad they become young again and can do stuff they couldn't 10 minutes ago.
I think this whole thing turned into a bigger deal than it should have. I don't know why she was so upset, unless she had been standing in line for a while.
I didn't think that older people would get so mad over budging in the food line. Because she did injure someone else, who wasn't even involved in the incidence.
Everybody has a bad day, something that small could have just been the thing that put her over the top. If it were me, I would've just been merely annoyed and moved on with my life, but I wasn't in the situation.
She might have been very annoyed and hungry.
I have no idea why she would be so upset about this. It wasn't like she was starving and needed food that instant. I guess she really wanted to start eating.
That might have been why, but she was very old so she might have been on medicine.
That's horrible! Hopefully she deserved, which is what it sounded like but no one likes a miss-trial. It sounds like she must have just been hungry making her cranky but that is a very irrational reaction.
