John Glenn is a American born astronaut that was the first American to orbit the Earth. He passed away on December 8th, 2016 at the age of 95. He died recently at James Cancer Center at Ohio State University but, sources say it didn't mean he had cancer. President Elect Donald Trump said, "Today we lost a great pioneer of air and space in John Glenn. He was a hero and inspired generations of future explorers. He will be missed." In 1962, John Glenn flew into space in a small space craft called Friendship 7 and orbited the earth three times. He also returned into space in 1998 becoming the oldest person to go to space at the age of 77.
Questions:
If you had the chance to go up in space would you?
Would you travel in the Friendship 7 space capsule?
My Opinions:
1. I would probably go up to space if I could but, if I had to orbit the earth three times in the small Friendship 7, maybe not.
2. Probably not because there is not enough space for movement.

I would most likely be too scared to attempt to go into space because of all of the things that could go wrong. No, because it's old and not up to standards of today.

I would not go into space if I had the chance. It seems terrifying to me. I would not travel in the Friendship 7 space capsule. It is too small, and I think I would go crazy in such a small space.
Maybe, i think it would be a cool experience but i think it would be difference and lots of things to prepare. If i knew I would come home safe and the trip wouldn't be gone too long then yes.

I think that if they know for sure that the aircraft would fail then I will. I think that I would travel in the friendship 7 because it seemed to work back then but first it needs to be updated. I don't want to risk my life to be able to say i went to space.
YES! You know how cool that would be? Just to go an look at the earth and other planets!?! I would have went in any cause going to space is going to space!
1. you only live once so take every chance you get, space is something that hardly anyone gets to see soo yes i would.
