The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is urging virtually everyone to get the 2011 flu shot, noting that immunity from last year's strains may not be strong enough for the upcoming flu season. The flu strains expected to circulate this flu season are identical to the 2010–2011 flu season strains, including the H1N1 virus. Like last year, the government is recommending that everyone 6 months old and older be vaccinated as soon as flu shots are available at clinics or your doctor's office. The CDC says that babies and children ages 6 months to 8 years old will require two shots this year unless they were vaccinated last year, in which case they only need one this year. Boost your health now. exercise 30 minutes a day, load up on fruits and vegetables, have a routine blood test to make sure you're not vitamin D deficient (and if you are, supplement accordingly), and cut out processed foods. I think that its good that they are informing people to stay healthy for the flu season! Any comments??

A lot of people end up getting sick from the flu shot. I haven't got a flu shot for....I believe 10 years? I know I got it when I was 5 years old. I haven't gotten one since. I rarely ever get sick.
I can about guarantee that my family won't be getting it. My mom and brother have both gotten really bad colds from getting it! I haven't gotten one since!
I agree. I think that it's good that they prepare us for what's coming. If you think about it, when we get shots for things, it usually helps to prevent whatever it is that you're getting the shot for. I'd much rather get the shot and not get sick, than to pass it up and get servirely sick.
I agree. I think it's good to prepare us for what's coming. Cause if we get a flu shot we could possibly get sick but if we did, then it wouldn't get as bas as it would if we went without the flu shot.

I remember when the H1N1 virus spread a whole bunch. It was like 2 years ago or so. I think.
