Florida State's head football, Willie Taggart has been fired after less than 2 years of coaching. The Seminoles record while Taggart was head coach is 9-12. Last year was the first year they had missed a bowl game since 1981. The Seminoles have to win 2 of their next 3 games to be eligable to go to a bowl game. Now Florida State has to find a new head coach before their next game on November 9. Click here to read more about this.
Do you think it is the head coach's fault if the team is losing?
I think that it is somewhat his fault because his is calling the plays, but it is also the players faults for making the mistakes.
Do you think that Florida State will find a new head coach before their next game?
I think that they won't find a new head coach until this offseason because they can just have one of their other coaches from their coaching staff step up to the head coach position.

Ben,
Your summary is short overall, your questions are yes and no, you didn't capitalize key words in yoru title and you only replied once when you shoul have replied to everyone.
I don't think that blame can be pinned on a single person in this case. Yes, he may have made some bad decisions during his time coaching, but I think football is a very situational sport. The result of the game can depend on so many small factors, such as focus, weather conditions, injury, and even emotion. All of these could affect a player's mentality during a game. I don't know if they will be able to find a new coach, but they might have to hire a temporary head coach.
The reason it would be his fault they are losing would be because he wans't teaching them and telling them what they are doing wrong. However, it could also be the players fault becuase of the way they play and make mistakes. If they don't find one in time they could easily ask another coach or even a staff memeber in the school to hlep them.
It might be his fault but also the players because if he doesn't teach them how to play well the players can also push him to make better practices or ways to get better as a team. If they already fired their last coach I think they would work hard to find a new coach that would probably help them win their next game.
I think that part of it is because some coches dont teach there players good team spiret or even how to play good but it could be the players fault as well for eather not trying or caring about the game or being not being coahed properlly. I think that they might if they can find a hard working coach that wants to win and teach players to be good and have a good spirit.
I think, most of the blame is on him because of tradition at Florida State. Florida State is always known as a powerhouse of college football and the coach should've atleast maintained a bowl game so they continue the success and he was unsuccesful. I do think they will find the coach for team after this football season so they ca nfocus on the team instead of finding the coach as they can use a interim.
Yes and no because he's the one that is calling the plays but its also the players choices that also impacts the game too. Maybe, it just depends on the communication with people.
If he is calling the plays it could possible be his fault, but it all up to the kids and how they respond and do the play. You can call a terrible play, and the kids can still make it happen and take it to the house. I don't think they will find another good head coach they like until after the season. Because I wouldn't want to leave a team mid season just because you never know what they can do.
I agree with you on the part where you said it is kind of his fault because he makes some of the important decision. I also agree with you about the coach not coming back but I think they will be better without him because they can change the gameplan.
